Stevens Square Community Organization: Life in the heart of Minneapolis

It is the goal of the Safety Committee to provide a safe and healthy environment for neighborhood residents and increase the social stability of the neighborhood through concerted crime prevention programs and safety strategies in conjunction with our law enforcement partners. 

The Safety Committee meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at Loring Nicollet Community Center, 1925 Nicollet Ave.  The meetings bring together residents, property and business owners, and law enforcement to review activity in the neighborhood, problem properties, and the cases of chronic offenders and to plan response and prevention strategies.
